Yellow Diggers

Oh the yellow diggers dig

And the orange dumpers dump,

The Water, Gas and Electric

Are making the road into humph.

There are big holes here and there,

Little holes everywhere,

The workmen are always making holes

They must thing that they are moles.

Robin Mellor

(may be sung to the tune of ‘The Grand Old Duke of York’)
